Dr. Teng obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2016. He served in the Ministry of Health, Malaysia and worked in private practice before embarking on full-time endodontic postgraduate training in Kingโs College of London. In 2022, he was awarded Master of Clinical Dentistry (Endodontology) with distinction by Kingโs College London. In the same year, he passed the membership examination by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and was awarded the Membership in Endodontics. Dr. Teng had co-authored several scientific papers in international journals and textbook chapters regarding root resorption, including a recently published European Society of Endodontology Position Statement. Dr. Teng is a registered endodontist with Malaysian Dental Council and is currently working as a full-time endodontist in Puchong and Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Besides, he is also a visiting clinical supervisor for the undergraduate endodontic clinic in UKM.
