Dr Loh Wayen is well known for his passion and gentle handling of his patients. He strongly believes that braces treatment should be tailored made for each person as every individual is unique. โPatient’s best interest is always put above anythingโ is what he has uphold ever since he became a dentist.
Dr Loh obtained his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in year 2012. He started his career in Johor, serving under the Ministry of Health at the primary dental clinic and then shifted to Kuala Lumpur to practice hospital-based dentistry. During his residency, he was exposed to various complicated orthodontic and surgical cases which sparked his determination to further his knowledge and experience to deliver even better patient care. In year 2017, he obtained his Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Following that, he was provided with a fully sponsored scholarship by the hospital to pursue his specialist training in Orthodontics in Universiti Malaya. Dr Loh completed his postgraduate training in year 2021 and was awarded the top student of the class with distinction. He also acquired the Membership of Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in the same year.
Dr Loh currently practices in a public hospital and handles impacted tooth, cleft and orthognathic cases. His vast experience in a hospital setting puts him in a great advantage when dealing with complex orthodontic clinical cases. Dr Loh is definitely a very sought-after clinician for his friendliness and approachability to his patients.
